My 35th Birthday Party!

Much to my dismay, I celebrated my birthday with my family and friends, what I mean is that I didn't really want to make a big deal for my birthday, of course I loved that my family and friends were there and am thankful that my mom set up this party for me!! I was just worried about the weather cuz there were about 50 people coming, 20 of them kids, so was hoping that the weather was going to turn out so we could have a backyard party. It was looking up early in the day just a little drizzle so we prepared for the worst just in case, my dad and Kal put up a tarp in the backyard, and had umbrellas over the tables just in case. Well it poured and poured.......and it was like a sauna in the house when everyone started showing up. The guys really didn't care about the rain, they were all outside, Kal and my brother were BBQing their hearts out and when the rain let up and the sun came out for about 30 minutes I set up the slip n slide and got all the big kids out of the house and they spent a few hours outside......phewwwwwwww!! Actually even the little kids got into the action on the slip n slide!!


I think everyone had a good time, really full bellies and great conversations, there were a few new babies that everyone loved to see and hold too!! The night actually flew by, but doesn't that always happen when you are running around like a chicken with its head cut off!! I was able to really sit down and relax around 11:30ish, and we had a few friends still chatting away.


I was asked earlier to sit down and open presents but was always distracted, I did open them after eveyone left and got really spoiled!! I got old navy, starbucks, joe fresh and spa utopia gift cards, flowers, clothes, fruits & passion body wash, cook book and utensils, and an ipod touch, so like I said before really spoiled, Thanks everyone!!


The funny thing was the next morning I felt like I had a hangover, and I didn't even have one sip of wine or a cocktail!! I guess I was just soooo exhausted from the party that my body thought I must of drank!!
